I love yogurt, and I certainly love smoothies, so I most definitely am in love with smoothie recipes with yogurt! Now there are a number of reasons to indulge in and love these little treasures, but I find they are best enjoyed with fresh wholesome ingredients and only the finest organic yogurt, either greek or coconut usually. Now there are a number of benefits to using yogurt in your smoothies, not the least of which is all the probiotics and calcium found in it. But greek yogurt is also famous for being non fat but also having more then double the protein of normal yogurts and can make for a really filling, luxurious, and creamy smoothie which I know you guys will enjoy!


I also like to use the flavored greek yogurts if I can find them organic. A great recipe will also use filtered water instead of plain tap or bottled water, because using anything else can affect your smoothie's taste in all the wrong ways, so do it right! I also like to use a combination of freash and frozen produce when making my smoothies because I find it provides the best balance between thickness and consistency relative to the sweetness that only fresh fruit and ingredients can provide. Peach Smoothie Recipe with Yogurt

  • 2 cups of filtered water
  • 1 fresh peach in slices
  • 1 whole banana in frozen chunks
  • 1 cup of vanilla greek yogurt
  • 1 whole lime's worth of freshly squeezed juice
  • 1 tsp of stevia for sweetening
  1. Pour in your water into the blender
  2. Then add in your yogurt
  3. Follow that up with the fresh peach slices
  4. Then add in your frozen banana chunks
  5. Pour in your lime juice and sweetener
  6. blend until desired consistency 
  7. Smoothie Time!
